About the 2026 Miami reinsurance Week:
The Miami (re) Insurance Week is the most important Miami networking week of the year for the Latin American Insurance Industry. The Miami reinsurance Week started with a golf tournament two decades ago.
Since then, Miami has become a reinsurance hub for Latin America. It hosts the regional headquarters of many (re) insurance companies, MGA´s, brokers, loss adjusters, forensic accountants and other insurance experts. (Mainly in the Brickell avenue area).
During the 2025 Miami (re) Insurance Week, an estimated 2,500 insurance professionals from different countries (according to iNLIP´s records people from all Latin American countries, England, Spain, France, Germany, China, South Africa, etc.) travelled to Miami in order to participate in insurance seminars, conferences and forums, golf tournaments, (there are several now), cocktails, meetings, yacht cruises and other indenpendent insurance related events organised through the Miami Reinsurance Week.
In other words, the Miami (Re) Insurance Week it’s the main place to be for companies serious about doing business in a region offering important growth opportunities. The potential growth opportunities transcend many business lines.
For instance, in 2025 many companies focused on life & health business contacted iNLIP. Also Parametric Risk Transfer continued to build momentum. (See iNLIP´s parametric insurance area with news, articles and reports about Parametric Insurance in Latin America such as the “2024 Parametric Insurance in Latin America“)
In that sense, when doing business in Latin America is also key to pay attention to regulatory challenges. (See here the report: Latin America reinsurance playbook: Key regulatory benchmarks for market access)
It is very important to point out that the Miami reinsurance week is not a single conference, summit or forum, so there are no global tickets “on sale”. It consists on many independent insurance-related events and each company is in charge of its own event. Each event has a different registration process.
iNLIP offers to its subscribers a calendar / agenda showing the majority of the events. Some of them are open, other require subscription and other are not shown as some clients prefer a more exclusive and private approach.
See 2025 Miami Reinsurance Week Calendar as a reference.
