About the event
Over the past two decades, catastrophe models have matured significantly. Within the re/insurance sector, such models are now considered essential tools for risk selection, pricing, assessing capital adequacy and measuring profitability.
Oasis loss modelling framework provides an open source modelling platform that eases the exchange of catastrophe models. This allows the insurance industry to access models from new model providers, which increases the diversity of models and risk views.
At the Oasis Conference, hosted by Swiss Re Institute and Swiss Re’s Cat Perils team, participants will learn more about the suite of available models, which is constantly growing, and how Oasis can now be integrated in various IT landscapes. At this one-day conference, participants will also get an update on available models, see how others have integrated Oasis, and how they can use Oasis in their daily business.
