ADVANTA is pleased to announce the appointment of Jesús Navas who will be joining our team of Directors, further strengthening our operations in London. With over 16 years of experience in the offshore and renewables sector, Jesús brings a wealth of expertise in large-scale projects, claims management, and leading international teams. He will work closely with our Executive Directors to drive growth and innovation across our global operations.
Jesús is a highly skilled professional with a background in Electrical Engineering, a PhD in Materials Engineering and extensive expertise in Offshore Energy, Renewables, Marine, and Engineering projects.
His strategic vision and technical foundation have enabled him to successfully lead complex engineering projects from design to commissioning, manage and settle claims of up to $450M, and play a key role in floating wind turbine design by overseeing a €100M investment in a mooring chain production facility.
Having held several leadership roles throughout his career, Jesús has also driven business expansion by introducing new service offerings in Sweden for onshore and offshore inspections and risk assessments for major Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy clients. Additionally, he has opened new offshore market opportunities across Europe, APAC, and the Americas. Holding industry certifications such as OPITO Offshore Safety Training and NDT Level II in Magnetic Particle and Ultrasonic Testing, Jesús is a valuable addition to our team.
