In 2026 David Roig created the website “Miami Reinsurance Week Guide“. The site is designed to help insurance professionals better understand Miami Reinsurance Week and responds questions about how the Miami Reinsurance Week works.
The site is designed to help insurance professionals better understand Miami Reinsurance Week – how it works, when it is held and what to expect from a week of events designed to bring insurance professionals with an interest in Latin America together.
It responds frequent questions such as where is possible to buy a ticket, where to find a schedule or list of events, etc.
David Roig, iNLIP´s founder, is keen to stress that Miami Reinsurance Week is not a single organized conference, so there is no global ticket to purchase or attendee list. Instead, it features numerous independent events, panels, and networking socials. To attend specific sessions or events, you must monitor and register for each gathering individually. Every year, on iNLIP you can find a calendar showing key gatherings.

For many years, Roig has organized and / or promoted many insurance-related events in Miami and has introduced to the Miami market many companies.
Additionally, in 2014 (it took one year of work to put all together) David Roig created the name/brand of the Miami Latin American Claims (Re) Insurance Forum, the name of the company that organized the Forum (Miami Professional Events), its structure, sponsorship policy, price policy, corporate image, (Brickell focused and colourful at that time) marketing strategy, brochures, banners, communications strategy, internal organization and coordiantion, satisfaction survey, negotiation with hotels, definition of the best dates, contact with suppliers to purchase the famous High Sierra backpack, media partnership with BN Americas, etc.
Many didn’t believe in the project (“David, the insurance industry isn’t looking for that kind of events” he was told when he propossed the project in London´s headquarters) and the first year was very, very difficult to get started and find speakers and sponsors. After 3 years succesfully managinig the Miami Latin American Claims (Re) Insurance Forum launch, Roig left that project and focused on iNLIP.
