2026 Miami Annual APIW Golf Tournament: Building the Future of Insurance, One Swing at a Time
Now in its third year, the Annual APIW Golf Tournament brings together professionals from across the insurance and reinsurance community through the collaboration of APIW Miami, RISE (Rising Insurance Star Executives), the U.S. Reinsurance Under 40s Group (RE40), and Fore Women in Insurance. Together, these organizations have united around a common mission: strengthening the insurance industry by supporting the development of future leaders.
The tournament was created not only to foster professional relationships and industry engagement, but also to make a lasting impact through its support of Insurance Cares, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to education and career opportunities in insurance. Through scholarships, mentorship programs, educational resources, networking opportunities, and internship support, Insurance Cares helps introduce talented students and emerging professionals to rewarding careers across the insurance sector.
The impact of this partnership continues to grow. Funds raised through the 2025 tournament enabled Insurance Cares to double its scholarship program, providing financial assistance to ten students pursuing studies in risk management, actuarial science, insurance, business analytics, and related disciplines. In addition to scholarship funding, recipients gained access to industry mentors, career development resources, internship opportunities, and attendance at the 2026 RISE Leadership Summit & Awards Gala, creating pathways for long-term success in the profession.
For the insurance industry, the tournament serves a broader purpose. As organizations across the market focus on attracting, developing, and retaining talent, events like this demonstrate the industry’s commitment to creating opportunities for the next generation. By bringing together professionals from carriers, brokers, MGAs, reinsurers, and service providers, the tournament strengthens industry connections while helping ensure a diverse and sustainable talent pipeline for years to come.
On October 5, 2026, insurance professionals from across South Florida and beyond will once again gather in Miami for a day of golf, networking, and philanthropy.
